Install Urban Concepts curtain tracks

1. Prepare the surface

Thoroughly clean the ceiling surface of dust and dirt.
Let the surface dry completely before installation.

2. Measure and mark

Recommended distance from the wall: approx. 8-10 cm.

We recommend letting the track extend about 30 cm past the window on each side
for a larger and more exclusive impression.

Mark the position of the track with a pencil.

3. Adjust the length

Assemble multiple tracks using the included connectors.

The track can be cut to the desired length if necessary.

4. Install the track

Remove the protective film from the tape.

Place the track according to the markings and press firmly for a few seconds.

Let the adhesive set for 12 hours before hanging the curtains.

5. Install curtain gliders & end stops

Insert the gliders into the track and ensure they slide freely.
Each 50 cm track comes with 10 curtain gliders.
Finally, attach the end stops.

How do I remove the curtain tracks if, for example, I am moving?

You can remove the tracks by applying heat to soften the tape; use, for example, a hairdryer or a heat gun on low heat and blow on the tape until it softens, then detach the track. You can then scrape off any adhesive residue and finally wipe clean with a mild cleaning product.

However, we want to be transparent that we cannot guarantee that there won't be any marks or damage, as all homes have different types of ceilings and surfaces that react in different ways. On the other hand, the risk is usually smaller than if you drill and then need to fill and repaint the ceiling.

Can I reuse your adhesive curtain tracks?
No, because the tape loses its strength when removed.
